The Sangoma

Uncover your inner path

Never Easy To Say ‘Good-bye’

My first-born son left home in August to spend a year in college abroad and though it was difficult to see him go I was safe in the knowledge that he had the tools to make it out in the world and that he was now getting a chance to put all this knowledge into practice. I equate this experience to the departure of my four Mastership students who qualified in September. Like that, most of them have been coming to me for a few years now, starting off initially as one-to-one clients then going on to follow the different steps of their Samgoma Way through the teachings of Reiki level 1, 2 and finally Mastership. They played a huge part in my monthly shares, my weekend retreat workshops and other events throughout the year adding their unique talents, knowledge, support and for that I am eternally grateful. Though sad to see them go I rejoice that they will now share their knowledge of healing and help others find a life of purpose.

The good news though is that I’ve welcomed five new people to my mastership year and looking forward to both the learnings and the teachings that we all have to offer each other.

Love, light and laughter,

Kate
