July evening meditation classes 2018
On the longest day of the year, the sun, which has on the days preceding seemed to rise higher and higher into the sky, reaches its zenith and rises no more.
This day, which in the Northern Hemisphere can occur between the 20th and 23rd of June, marks the start of summer and is known as the summer solstice. From time immemorial, the coming of summer’s light and warmth has been a time of gladness and celebration.
The summer solstice remains a time of new beginnings and life-enriching endings. It is the day the sun reaches the peak of its power as well as the day that heralds the shorter days that eventually bring with them autumn’s chills.
For the last 5 weeks in meditation class we have been exploring the Crown chakra and our connection to all living things and our connection to our higher mind or Higher Self. We were fortunate enough to take our class outside surrounded by the sounds and smells of Summer which heightened the experience to a different level.
So much so when ordinarily this would be the last set of classes (before we broke for the Summer) the class have asked to continue. So, I’m delighted to announce that I will be putting on another set of classes as follows
- Thursday 12th July @7pm
- Thursday 19th July @7pm
- Thursday 26th July @7pm
- Thursday 2nd Aug @ 7pm
The duration of the class is 1 hour and classes run for 4 consecutive weeks in The Sangoma Way home practice, Cappamore, Co. Limerick.
Total investment for this series of classes is €48 and you can book in advance by paying in full via PayPal here
