Meditation Classes for February/ March 2019
Hi All,
Delighted to be back to our mindfulness meditation classes and this month we are easing our way into a new year. Rather than setting goals that get discarded after a few weeks, we set an intention or power statement which is a very powerful thing to do. Some people like to choose a single word such as peace, clam, joy, connection, or support.
The beauty of a power statement is that it can change and grow much like a seed being planted in fertile soil needing precise attention. That’s why writing your statement down in a place you will see it throughout your day is very important
When we feel stuck in our lives it’s important to take stock of what is going on and find out if there is something we are doing or not doing that is keeping us stuck. Sometimes the situation is out of our control, and we need to look within to find the patience required to wait with equanimity until things move forward again.
Many times, though, we can find the source of our stagnation in our own hearts and minds. Sometimes we are clinging to old ideas about reality and we need to make adjustments that will bring us back in tune with life, so we can flow again. Sometimes we find that fear of change is what’s keeping us stuck, and we can resolve to find ways of facing that fear.
One way to resolve the fear and anxiety we are feeling is through mindfulness meditation.

The duration of the class is 1 hour, and classes run for 5 consecutive weeks
