I am enough June 2021

Hi everyone, Hope you are enjoying being out and about as further restrictions have lifted and the weather has improved. What a year it has been for us all so far, so much has happened in terms of the various themes we have experienced from creativity -where we converted our homes into a space for work and /or to home school, to coming up with inventive ways to meet up with friends and family outside, while staying safe… all weather picnics. Another theme may have been around readdressing our values and what we view as important now as we re-emerge… READ MORE

The whispers of your soul- May meditation classes 2021

Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying the easing of restrictions and the sense of liberation that comes with it. I managed to get to the sea on a few occasions for a very quick dip ,it was very cold but invigorating !! During the various lockdowns my mind slipped into that old pattern of feeling  stuck while my spirit or soul showed me ways to feel totally free. I couldn’t work in the same way which gave me the opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside and walks around where i live. I grew up in the country and lived… READ MORE

The Joy within April meditation classes 2021

Hi everyone, I haven’t sent an email in a while as home schooling has been top of the agenda in our house for the past few weeks. Easter holidays are here now with a much-earned break.  Spending so much time with my daughter and her home schooling brought me back to my own childhood and how important breaks and having fun are. So, on St. Patrick’s Day (which was unseasonably warm this year) I headed down to our local river for a picnic and a paddle. Sitting on the mossy bank, feet dangling in the icy cold water with… READ MORE

At the end of the day. February 2021

Hi everyone, Isn’t wonderful that Spring has finally arrived and there is now a notable stretch in the evenings! Evenings are a wonderful time to catalogue the events of the day without distraction, to revel in gentle solitude or silence, to end the day in serenity, and to commune with your inner self. For human beings and other living things that tend to be most active in daylight, evenings can be less hectic and more relaxing. A simple stroll through the realms of dusk and darkness can show you two different worlds: one winding down and one just coming to… READ MORE

Expression is key.

Hi everyone, I hope this letter finds you well and despite the restrictions you are manging to get out for some form of exercise and fresh air. Perhaps after watching the videos you are becoming more aware of your thoughts and how limiting our interaction with social media and other news stories is as important for our overall health and well-being. Unfortunately, we can’t avoid some of the stories we are hearing at the moment of personal suffering and loss due to this pandemic. When we compare our situations to those who may be suffering at the moment it is… READ MORE

The Heart of the Matter

Hi everyone, Hopefully you all got a chance to watch the videos I posted up last week and if you didn’t might I suggest you do so before you watch these next two as they run in sequence. As I explained in my letter to you last week, these videos have been taken from the archive on my website. So, while they are not current their message is still relevant today perhaps even more so. And if you have seen them before I still urge you to watch them as sometimes when we are hearing or seeing something for the… READ MORE

Edits and reruns January 2021

Hi everyone, I hope you enjoyed your Christmas even if it was a quieter one. Christmas can be a nostalgic time steeped in traditions bringing with it a welcomed familiarity, comfort even. This call to home and hibernation is further encouraged through the media even the Christmas cards we get, by the use of such imaginary as blazing log fires, twinkling lights on the tree and snow scenes. For so many Christmas is about spending time with family and catching up with old friends. Many travel long distances even across time zones to be at home with their loved ones… READ MORE

Staying connected December 2020

Hi All, As I am writing this, I am very aware that some of you may not be able to spend Christmas with your loved ones this year which is very difficult on so many levels. As humans we are all born hard-wired to want to seek and find meaningful relationships with others, especially at a time like Christmas. Connection is an essential part of our overall health and well-being. Ironically, in this time of connected media and devices, loneliness has reached an all-time high. It is common for us to feel lonely or alone, especially as our lives… READ MORE
